Family Life Center of the First Baptist Church in Orangeburg, 2875 Columbia Road

Beginning at 8 p.m.

9 p.m. Worship Celebration

John Callaway will be leading worship– johncallawayband.com

-all church youth groups are welcome

-there will be a late night ice cream social so churches who come after football games will still have group time

-groups participating at Greenwood and Allendale can both attend

-participants will sleep in the church gym, eat breakfast and then go either to Allendale or Greenwood for the Work Day.

Directions to Allendale First Baptist Church

From midlands or upstate areas, take I-26 East to Exit 145A (Highway 601S) towards Orangeburg.  Go 5.2 miles into Orangeburg and turn right onto US-301 South (John C. Calhoun Dr). Stay on US -301S for approximately 45 miles to Allendale, SC.  In Allendale, go through two traffic lights, cross the railroad tracks, and turn right on Flat St. (one block from railroad tracks). Brick church is visible from Highway 301.

From Charleston or lowcountry: Take I-26 West to Exit 154 (Highway 301S) towards Orangeburg.  Travel on Highway 301S to Allendale. United Center for Community Care

Through a partnership with the United Way and fundraising efforts on the part of FBC Greenwood, this old school building was acquired for $12,000. Helping with its renovation is the Fall Work Day project in Greenwood.

Numerous Locations

Continuing the work begun at last year's first Fall Work Day, projects have been arranged to meet a variety of needs in this rural, economically- deprived community.
