Church projects

Our churches are actively involved with missions projects, both locally and internationally. We invite churches to send us articles and photographs about their projects.

Ruth SchoolTwenty-eight members of Boulevard Baptist Church in Anderson spent two weeks at the Ruth School for Gypsy children in June 2007. Read a little more about the trip, and the essay that one of the high school students has written..

Teaching in Romania. Randy Wright, former pastor of Fernwood Baptist Church in Spartanburg, has twice taught at the Gypsy Smith School in Bucharest, Romania. The students are Gypsy pastors who get no other formal pastoral education. Read Randy's accounts of his two experiences.

Gandhi School. First Baptist Church in Greenville, SC, sent a team to work with Gypsies in Hungary in September 2006. More.

Just Sharing

Annual Offering to support the mission and ministry efforts of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of South Carolina.

2008 Goal: $80,000

In 2007, we received just over $50,000 for the State Mission Offering.

SC/CBF annually takes an offering to benefit specific state missions causes:

In 2006, gifts to the offering topped $64,000. Please consider making a gift either individually or through your church. Gift envelopes are available from the SC/CBF Resource Center.
