Budget

The budget for 2007-08 totals $563,043, up from $548,456 in 2006-07. Thirty-five percent of all undesignated gifts sent to SC/CBF is kept in the state and 65% is sent to CBF in Atlanta.

History and Mission

The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of South Carolina was organized in 1991 by a grassroots movement of free and faithful Baptists. We are a fellowship of Baptist Christians and churches who share a passion for the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and a commitment to Baptist principles of faith and practice. Our mission is to network, empower, and mobilize Baptist Christians and churches for effective missions and ministry in the name of Christ.

Who we are

We are a fellowship of Baptist Christians and churches who share a passion for the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and a commitment to Baptist principles of faith and practice. We are one of more than a dozen state and regional organizations that are a part of the national Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.

Coordinating Council

The South Carolina Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is led by a Coordinating Council that meets six times each year. Tony Hopkins, pastor of First Baptist Church in Greenwood, is moderator.
